Gymnastics
was first developed by the ancient Greeks as a method to increase strength,
stamina, suppleness and discipline. The aim of the ESF Gymnastics Club is to promote
these core ideals through a professional gymnastics training program that
includes floor, vault, balance beam, bar and trampoline components allowing
children to progress and specialize in specific gymnastics areas.
The Club
is open to all children aged 4-13 and is suitable for both boys and girls.
It is divided into four age and ability stages to ensure suitable
progression throughout a child’s gymnastics development. Each stage has
three specific levels to ensure children progress at a rate that is suitable
to them. Each level comprises of individual tasks to ensure complete
development in individual areas. For each level, children receive a personal
sticker book. When a child succeeds in a specific task, they receive a
sticker which they place in the book. Upon completion of all the tasks the
child receives a certificate of achievement and is awarded a level badge
allowing them to graduate to the next level. |
